Hi Alexis,
I do not know you, but I was looking at the Poway High Website checking out the athletics for my kids who may be going there in the future. I saw the information about the cookbook and clicked on the link to learn about your diagnosis. My best friend was diagnosed with osteosarcoma 3 months after giving birth to her first child. She had the same symptoms as you - leg pain with no relief from ibuprofen. I pray you find the strength everyday to stay positive and educate yourself on staying healthy. There is much love around you and more and more research is being done for this cancer. My friend ended up going to NY to receive treatment from one of the best oncologists who is considered the lead doctor in bone cancer around the world. Stay strong and let the good times roll.

it was so great to run into you yesterday at clinic. lexie, you look fantastic! so healthy and vibrant - and your hair is adorable! wish i could get mine to look that cute and curly...
thank you both so much for all of the help you have given to me and matt. i can't imagine going through this without all of the tips you have given us. you are an inspiration to us both.
congrats on going back to school and a return to a more normal life! we are so happy for you and your entire family...
