My mom, sisters and I went to Poway Lake with softball friends. We played a pickup softball game against another family. I was hitting and pitching and no one got a hit of me lol!!! It was a lot of fun and it felt good to get back on the softball field again. Tonight we are cooking at the Ronalld Mcdonald house in memory of Demario.
It's going to be fun to see all the other famalies that we haven't seen in a while. Please keep a new Osteosarcoma kid named Matt in your prayers. He just started his first chemo and he has along road ahead of him. Thanks Again everyone!

Hey everyone it's Yaya! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Tomorrow I am going to clinic to check counts for surgery and to make sure I don't need platelets. Then Friday my Dad,Cooper and I are driving to Las Vegas to visit Doctor Milnie before Surgery. Surgery is on Monday at 8:00am, I'm really nervous but I can't wait to get it over with. I will probably be in the hospital for over a week. But I get a epidural again for five days so that will be nice. Thank you again for all the support and love. Keep me in your prayers.Lots of extra prayers for my friend Vince & his family. The osteo beast is trying to raise it's ugly head again, so I pray his surgery is clear. Love Yaya

2 day was a good day. The pain was under control & Yaya figured if she stays down it helps. Thank the Lord Tessa & Maris are out of school for two days & helped me. Even Kida(the dog) was put into action, Yaya was convinced she could put the leash on Kida & she could pull her in the wheelchair. Of course it didn't work, but I was there to help. Please keep Yaya in your prayers & Dr Bowman that he finds a solution! I go to sleep tonight knowing tomorrow will bring a new hope for my family & our Nation...

Also tomorrow I have my fifth chemo, I will probaly be in the hospital for a week. I start three week straight of chemo. Which means I will be at the hospital every Tuesday for three weeks, which sucks!!!But Only 5 more left. It was fun going to the Poway Homecoming Game and watching Bubba and Brett play and The whole Poway Football team . Thank you for all your support. Hi To All:
It has been a rollercoaster ride these past 13 days. We had pure joy with the outcome of surgery to absolute fear with a fever, infection and her pain. Today we had our first small outing to Scripps Clinic RB for her x-rays. Thank you so much to Jackie, Drew, Bill and Ray for all your help to keep her exam pain free.
Tomorrow is a big day with a visit to Dr Bowman the surgeon and to clinic for weekly blood test/Dr visit. Keeping her out of pain is chore and seeing her in so much pain rips our hearts out. On a happy note, Tessa and Maris are off @ camp and we can't wait to hear their stories when they return on Saturday.
Thank you for all the wonderful dinners, gifts, cards, calls, texts and the most important PRAYERS.. The golf ... >> full...

Surgery was a success. She is pain-free and sleeping. As parents it has been a day of pure joy, something we never thought we would have again. Her doctors were amazed at how smooth it all went with no problems.
Yaya is smiling, talking and happy to be Bionic Lexie now.. Thank you for all the prayers, calls and texts... She is cancer free!!!!.. XXX & OOO's to all......
